叶清，男，博士，研究员，博士生导师，现任中国科学院华南植物园主任助理，鼎湖山国家级自然保护区管理局局长&鼎湖山树木园主任，中国科学院华南植物园生态及环境科学研究中心主任，中国科学院退化生态系统植被恢复与管理重点实验室主任。1993-1997年江西农业大学林学院获学士学位，1998-2001年中国农业大学生物学院获硕士学位，2001-2006年德国拜罗伊特大学植物生态系获博士学位，2006-2008年美国哈佛大学有机与进化生物系博士后，2008-2010年比利时鲁汶大学生物学院欧盟项目科学家，2014年获第五届中国侨界“创新人才”贡献奖。主要研究全球变化背景下森林植物对环境变化的响应与适应，从植物个体、进化类群、森林群落到生态系统不同尺度水平，系统地开展功能性状与植物应对全球变化的生理生态学机理方面的研究。近期的研究成果发表在Ecology Letters、Plant, Cell and Environment、Functional Ecology、Journal of Biogeography、Annals of Botany等相关领域主流期刊上。
